Are my rowing club building and contents and rowing boats covered under Rowing Australia’s National Insurance Program?
No. Aon has existing partnerships with rowing clubs around the country and we can help you with your requirements. We recommend that each rowing club holds appropriate cover for rowing sculls and motor boats, the club house buildings and contents, and all the portable equipment needed to run a rowing club (megaphones, bikes, pontoons, etc.) Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 1800 377 712 to discuss the best options for your club.
If rowing equipment is stolen from a rowing club would that be covered under Rowing Australia’s National Insurance Program?
No. We recommend that each club takes out their own property policy which would cover their club’s property from events such as damage, theft, fire, flood and any consequential loss of profits.
An appropriate property insurance policy can help protect rowing clubs from such occurrences, so if you hold existing property cover or require new cover, we can help you arrange this. It’s easy to make the switch through Aon . You can even do this mid-term at no extra cost.
